    :break_diet:I am new to the site, and I have about 9stone to loose...seems like such a huge mountain to climb!! I have always been overweight since about 15. At one point I was close to 30 stone and was falling apart rapidly. My dad died not long ago and i pilled on a load of weight after leaving the Cambridge diet...here goes..one day at a time I guess! Anyone out there with advice on long term VLCDs? Thank you

    Hiya and :welcome2:

    I know how it feels when you have so much weight to lose, i to had about the same to lose as you and i have now lost 20lbs but still the mountain seems very steep. You have also come along way with the weight you have already lost so i'm sure you can manage it and like i said we are here to support you, we are all here for you, so if you need anything just ask.

    I myself haven't done a vlcd before, been tempted to do CD myself though, i'm currently doing Slim Fast at mo. Sorry i cant help you with that question but i'm sure someone will come along soon with some help for you.

    Hi 9stone2go

    I am relatively new to the VLCD and I also have a long way to go. I try to take it one day at a time, or minute by minute.


    I try not to focus on the negative aspects of the diet, but focusing on my goals of lovely shoes and a wonderful holiday without the extra belt on the plane :eek:.
