Help. demotivated day.

Hi,

I was weighed on Saturday and lost 2lbs despite last weekend refeeding for christening/ buffet and then back on Monday. I am SO hungry since restarting monday and so dissapointed that in 4 weeks of this diet I have only lost 12lb. Last time I was on this diet the weeks seemed to go a lot quicker and the results seemed quicker. To make it worse my partner and I started this diet together and were going to loose weight and support each other, he gave up 2 weeks ago and has put back on 3kgs and is eating all the lovely food I desire. I am struggling.

Anyone else had this, am I going mad?

It is never a good idea to refeed before target. It just makes it so much harder to stay motivated and focused. But if I am reading you right you have only done 3 weeks as one week was refeeding??? If so then you have lost 12lbs in 3 weeks!! Which is bloody brilliant!

Either way..... chin up. You will have a good loss next week if you stick to it perfectly. Try not to sit and watch your partner eat those foods. He could be a bit more supportive to be honest! He knows how hard the diet is, so why is he eating those foods in front of you. Does he want you to fail because he did???

Don't let him win! You take yourself off to the computer and come on here when he is eating. When you are at target and feeling fab about yourself....he will be mad jealous!!

I tally agree with Sara4, I think he is 'rubbing it in' that he can eat what he wants and you can't!!!!!
He KNOWS how hard it is and is tempting you - it is CRUEL.
You stick to it, show him how to do it, be slim and healthy that will show him how strong and determined you are!
Try and explain to him how he is NOT HELPING !
Again like Sara4 says - when he is eating come on hear and talk to us, we want you to be healthy xxxx

I totally agree with everything that has been said already. I think it`s particularly nasty to sit and eat in front of you when he knows how difficult this diet is.

I think your weight loss is great!! Well done!!

I am not sure actually whether your OH is eating nice things deliberatley...because at the end of the day, it is his choice and you have made the choice to carry on. I havent stopped my hubby from eating, and I eat with him, albiet with my shakes or soup! I make him all his meals and give him all his usual treats....

Unfortunately, you have to learn to accept that! You cant eat at the minute, but it isnt forever.

Your OH seems to be eating anything he wants now, as he has put on quite a bit in such a short time, and I reckon in a few weeks or so, he is going to be so annoyed at himself and probably uncomfortable if he carries on the way he is.

You werent on the program long before your re-feed, and unfortunately you have probably knocked yourself out of ketosis and have had to wait to get back into it..plus it isnt always easy to get back into the swing of things.

Try not to look at things so negatively...you seem to be seeing the blacker side of life! YOu have decided to carry on with the diet, so enjoy it. You will see your results so quickly, but try and be positive and think that in a few more weeks you will be X amount lighter. I think your weight loss is very good for the time you have been on the program.

Stick with it!!!! You can do it.

True. I will come on here when he eats. In 3/4 weeks on lipotrim I have lost 4 and a half inches off my waist alone. Theres no other diet that can do that!

Thank you all, guess I can resist the smells for a healthy lifestyle.

Its good you have the inch loss record too! That is brill.

Yes, you are right..those smells and the fact we ate the wrong things have got us where we are :)

If my hubby is trying to wind me up i put an extra spoon of sugar in his tea and he has ten cups a day!! serves him right
