Ok confession time. I have put on and lost the same 11lbs for 6/7 weeks . I think too many breaks from the diet have contributed to this . In the past 3 weeks av kinda swayed to weight watchers and tried it a bit, must say this didn`t or isn`t working.

I wanted to stop Exante coz of my very frequent menstrual period, thinning hair and now the piles. Am feeling so confused and am sure am driving the OH mad as all am talking about lately is WW vs Exante.... My mojo is gone . I still want to lose the weight and I know WW or similar is not for me, I don`t trust this whole concept of free foods etc coz we all know that all these foods have calories. I may go to it after losing 2 stone but for now don`t see it working honestly. Am just feeling so annoyed with myself I need to find a way forward with this. I think I need to update my diary and read others diaries often so that am in the zone just like when I first started. Aaah this is so hard .

    Thanks for reading...

Ohhh babe I can totally undertstand where ur coming from... I was the exact same infact I'm still losing the same pounds which I put back on ... Just keep trying and don't give up take baby steps if u have too ... Rather than looking at it as a longterm thing take it each day at a time ... I find that usually works..

Uve done amazingly well... Well done truly fantastic.. Don't be to hard on urself either I guess we are only human and sometimes we do go off the wagon.. Well I have many times and still don't learn lol...

Soooo what I'm trying to say is Hun.. U can do it ... Stay strong and u will get back on that wagon for sure.. Give it a few days to get use to the whole thing again if that makes sense..

Wishingu lots of luck hugs x x

ohh i know exactly how you feel, although my problem has only been going on for a couple of weeks so far. I don't know what diet i'm meant to be doing anymore and how i'm meant to be doing it and when i have tried to do something else i ended up scoffing pizza and being sick. Lots of suffering for no weight loss.

I really want to get back to Exante because it is the diet which makes the most sense to me, and once you are 'in the zone' it really is quite easy and you don't have to be obsessed about food all the time and counting things up, wondering if you are allowed something, etc. For me, the 'rival' diet i keep thinking about is Atkins. But having tried Atkins for a couple of days and going straight for the pizza, it's just not doing it for me. But it's my head in a funny place rather than the diets being too hard. I dunno.

Sorry i can't offer you any advice as i'm kinda stuck too. I think we just have to keep going. Whatever that keep going means or is i don't know. Probably should be Exante for both of us really because that is what has WORKED in the past and so there is no reason to think it won't work in the future. Try to remember that all feelings are momentary and they do eventually end, so while it all feels crappy right now, it can and will get better. I'm hanging on for this in the hope that i'll be super motivated and back in the proper 'zone' i need to be to properly do this.

Oh thank you losingit and precious! I just don`t want to feel like this anymore and yes am human. For the 1st time ever am not using the kids as an excuse so that helps. It`s all about me and when am tired I tend to want food so, it just means an early night for me not food. Food is the enemy! If I cant do TS then WS isn`t so bad. I just want this weight gone....

    Hi Diva,
I know what you mean. I think for me I'm finding that as I'm getting closer to goal I'm finding it easier to think.... well, I've done pretty well, I could have a treat... or I could just stretch wS and have this or that...

As precious says, it's just taking it a day at a time, and reminding yourself why you're doing this. You've done so well already, but keep your eyes on your goal, and you will find a way to get there. xxx

I also know this feeling. I haven't really gained and lost repeatedly but I have been going on and off the Exante diet. My friends are very pushy with food and my partner can be also. My dearest friend is quite skinny, in fact she has no appetite and is trying to gain weight. She truly doesn't understand that when I say NO, I don't want/can't have food, that it means no. She hassles me over and over to the point where I have to literally snap at her to get her to stop. I have had a couple outings planned with her in the last week and I didn't want to have the same old merry go round, unpleasant discussion with her which would ruin our good time, so I just skipped having my pack and had a meal instead. I have been basically doing 'working solution' for the last week when actually I would prefer to do TS. Although, I imagine that if I were quite strict with calories when i have my one meal a day, and add exercise, I could probably lose just as fast doing that. I am undecided so far. My partner basically eats 24/7, so all day, every day it's this constant barrage of 'no no no no I don't want that, no no no remember I am on a diet? NO NO NO stop asking!!!!'

Quite tiresome :( I wish I could just be alone and this would be so much easier!

Hey Divalicious, give yourself a huge pat on the back for coming so far . . . not only in weight loss but in not giving up on yourself and still wanting to lose more to get to goal. I think this site is a fantastic motivator - especially when you're going it alone or are up against people trying to sabotage (purposely or not) your efforts. Keep posting and look forward - we'll get there together x

    Diva, that's the spirit girl.
It's so demoralising to go were after week same couple pounds off then on. We know the formula but it isn't as easy as it looks. Keep coming back here and chat with people who are doing the same too and together we can get past this.

Get some good music on and look at photos of lovely clothes and things on the Internet. Make a wish list and aim for it. X

Ditto!! I have to say though, you've done so well. It's as we start reaching the stage where we realise how rather splendid we are to have lost all that weight and start getting closer to that target that we start sabotaging ourselves in the name of exploration as to how we really want to be dieting. I ran out of Exante a couple of weeks ago and am a bit too skint to order more so have consequently put myself on a low calorie/carb diet mixed with an ice-cream and bagel diet!! Needless to say I've lost 2 lbs in the last 4 weeks and thinking that I have put that back on this week . It's difficult to go back to VLCD when you've started eating I think but good luck and hope you get your mojo back. If you do, let me know how you did it...!! x

Ive been gaining and losing the same 10lbs for 6 months now... I was 12 stone 3lbs before xmas... went up to 12 stone 12 lbs over xmas... got down to 11 stone 7lbs... then yoyo'ed between 11 stone 10lbs and 12 stone 5lbs for months now.. sick and tired of losing the same pounds, only to go and gain then a month later, so I know exactly how you feel!

Ive done WS for a week to try and get my mind back in the game and have now come onto TS again... well today is my first day on TS, Ive worked out how many weeks on TS it would take to get to certain mile stones... like down into the next stone, down to healthy bmi and down to goal weight so am breaking it down into weeks and focusing on the weeks until the next goal rather then the whole lot.

Good luck, you know you can do it! Just look how well you have already done! I bet you never thought you would lose as much weight as you have when you first started! And look how well you have done! So you can do this!

People keep saying that to me! "ohhh u cant have much more weight to lose!" "dont lose much more... ur look too skinny" etc etc! Being said by size 8 - 10 people... and Im still a size 14 and a stone and a half away from healthy bmi for my height!

So although I know i've still got a couple of stone to go, because people keep saying I look great, it makes my mind thing I can be slack with the diet, but the truth of the matter is... Im still over weight, Im still not happy with my weight, still not happy with how I look in clothes, I want to go into a shop and pick up something because I like it, not because it will look slimming or hide certain parts of my body!
