Hi everyone. I'm on ss+ in my 2nd week have my 2nd WI on Monday. Ive stuck to it 100% and lost 6lbs in my first week which I didnt think was all that considering I was 14 st 2lbs. Tonight I went out and had a fillet steak and a small dressed salad! Im scared I wont lose any weight this week and may have kicked myself out of ketosis. Does anyone have any advice on how much damage ive done?! Im so worried and feel really gulity!

    Thanks.

If the steak was small and without any fat and the salad was mostly leaves. Then really the only damage is the dressing. It might kick you out of ketosis but it depends on what was in it. You really haven't done all that much damage. You won't lose as much as if you'd been 100% but if you stick to it from now you will continue to lose weight!

Stop feeling guilty and just get back to it!

    Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! My weigh in is tomorrow so we will see how bad it was and if it is bad at least I would have learnt a lesson!

Even if something on it knocked you out of ketosis theres so little carb in there that you'd be back in the following day. How did weigh in go?

    That very true.

Ive just come back from the weigh in and I lost 8lbs! Which I'm very happy with considering this was week 2 and I only lost 6lbs in my first week. How you getting on?

Thanks a lot. If you dont mind me asking how much did it take for you to lose to get to your current weight of 12st? Ive got 1st 2lbs to get to that and then a further 2 stone to my goal but im going on holiday in 7 weeks would love to be 12st when I go im just wondering if thats achievable?

I'm at goal now I just haven't updated the signature but for a while. I'm 9stone and working up the steps. You can totally lose 1st 2lbs in seven weeks on step two. In fact I'd be surprised if you didn't lose more than that in those 7 weeks. Just stick with it and you will be so proud when you go on holiday feeling and looking fab!

I had a couple of hiccups along the way (health scare and a wedding or three) so it took me about 6 months to lose what I needed to get to where I am now. You can definitely do better than me though.

I've found being on here is great for motivation and sticking to the plan.

    Good luck!

Im below goal as well and it took me 4 months and Im maintaining for the last two months. I got very ill towards the end of Cambridge too but came out the other side grand again and its made me less likely to regain the weight.

Thats really good you must be so proud of yourself. I hope you continue to maintain and keep it off. Sorry to hear you were ill but glad your feeling better. Your right about the signature at the end of your comments about how cambridge compares to other weight loss programmes im only in week 3 and lost a stone in the first two weeks it took me a month and a half to do that on ww!
