Help - I'm on a Roller Coaster

Hi all

I'm on day 5 of the diet and I've stopped feeling sick and headachy which is great ... but I'm still getting reaaaaALLLLY hungry :(

I feel like I'm on a roller coaster - when I've had my shake, I'm so positive that this is the diet for me, and that I can do it - but 30 mins later i'm starving and can't stop thinking about food, and how I can do this on Weight Watchers .... but the problem is I can't do it on Weight Watchers otherwise I wouldn't be here in the first place.

I don't mind being a bit hungry - but I can't put up with this for 3 months, which is the limjit I've put on myself for doing this diet.

SORRY to moan on , but I just so wanted this diet to be for me (Can you guess I'm on the down slope of my roller coaster at the moment?)

Come on Lesley, youv`e done the hard bit, how about splitting youre packs so your having more through the day.x x

Think its just going to take time to get your head around a new way of eating , its like me i've been toying with the idea of VLCD since April , and you know its hard... i first went on CD back in April brought boxes and more boxes ..... but i kept breaking because my mood was low . So now i'm on slim fast and some added food now but still find it hard . You might find you want 2 shakes for CD and a meal its still better than giving up ? what do you think ?

Yeah that could be an option. I'm doing this with my hubby and sis and I don't think they'd let met give up without a fight lol

I can put up with the cravings ... I just thought you weren't supposed to feel hungry :( *feeling sorry for myself*

Yeah I guess I have done the hard bit ... I think it's just the weekend that's doing it. Sitting here watching "Over the Hedge" have you seen it - it's ALL about food lol big mistake!

I've just found the 50 reasons to lose weight thread and copied it to Word and added some of my own, which have helped a little. I don't want to give up - i WANT TO BE SLIM

Its the weekend that does it, do you work? If so you will feel better when there is a routine x

Hi Lesley you're doing so well getting to day 5 i think it's like anything we have our good days and our bad days you're really doing FAB!!!!!! And the scales will protray that on your WI.hope you manage to keep it up for the rest of the week hun hugs xxx

Thats what I was just saying to my hubby ... I think we'll have to plan our weekends more so we're more active ... today we've been chilling out watching DVDs. Tomorrow we're going to play Golf on the PS3 - time always flies when we're doing that :)

Thanks Ninababes - my own scales are showing a good loss - so hopefully the CDC's scales will show the same!

I'm sure they will be, monday will be here before you know it and then you'll be SUPER motivated to get through week 2 and we'll all be here kicking u up the bum to keep you going on those weaker moments!!!

Hang in there Lesley, each week gets a little easier and you may not be fully into ketosis yet hence the hunger. As Nina says your WI will be the biggest motivator to keep going! You've done so well to get this far so stick with it.

lol well as of tuesday i'll have a giant bandage on it therefore all the better for kicking you with and i kick HARD!!!!!!!

With feeling hungry ... sometimes we are just thinking about food and really we are not hungry.....But the water does do the trick have a pint when you feel hungry it should die down the hunger . Its the shock to your mind and body the diet , its also teaching yourself how to deal with food in another way.. theres been many times i've failed and came back and you know what i really could kick myself for that cos i would of been there by now ... but still being at goal means not going back to how you eat before too . Never give up Lesley because the diet will always be your life , crack it and leave it behind you girl :)

Yes you will crack this Diet Lesley... and keep on here is a good thing too , more so at weak moments , sit here glass of water in hand and read the posts on here write posts on how you feel , really its going to help you and in time your hunger will die away ... i know it will , the moods will be low at times but help on here help from family you can ride them out ! will look out for some posts from you on here Lesely ! good luck . You could even write a new post saying, Weak moment , Help you will get lots of posts back helping you , right guys ?
