Im trying to fill in a food diary help with my meals x

nom yoghurt
all bran 28g

fresh salmon from the counter
runner beans
4 chopped spring onions

drinks are only water

i know i havent eaten enough today what do u think my consultant is going to say? thing is its after 6pm now and im still stuffed from my fish i dont really want to eat anything else

ive lost my appetite i dont really want to eat much atm:mad:

We need a little more detail. What day are you doing? Was your milk measured and how much and whether skimmed or semi. how many syns were your Nom yogurt. Did you have any carbohydrate with your dinner? Is this absolutely everything that passed your lips today? You have the risk of your body thinking it is being starved and will slow down its metabolism and weight will not shift. or it may shift a lot at first and then come to a halt. It is not sustainable to eat this small amount unless you are bed ridden and doing nothing else in the day. have a look at some of the food diaries on here to get some idea of what others are eating.

I am trying a green day .... My yoghurt was 3 syns , my milk was 90ml .... I have been ill and lost my appetite so i dont know what is happening to me i cant seem to eat much more than this ..

Did you weigh the fish? It's a heb on a green day so you might have to count some of it as syns if it was biggish.
If you aren't hungry because you're feeling ill then don't eat. You can't force yourself.

Yes fish all weighed and counted as a heb ;-) i just dont want her thinkin im not eating enuff etc ..im just poorly maybe i wont continue with this weeks food diary as i dont think u have to have one filled in ... im still new to it all so im not sure

You don't have to fill one if but I do think it's really useful for people who are new to the plan. And it's not the gestapo - she's not going to shout at you for not eating enough. Tell her you've been ill and she'll be perfectly understanding. You're actually doing well considering you're not feeling good. See how you feel later on and maybe have something more then. I totally agree, you don't have to fill in the diary unless you feel it helps you.
In the many times I have done SW, I have only done it twice, when I STS and could not understand why. I was told nothing wrong with my eating, so for me was a waste of time.
Unlike so many I don't do diaries and I really don't worry about when I eat or how much when I eat. As long as I stick to the SW "rules" I really don't care. I am happy with my wegiht loss.
My advice, and it really works for me, is eat only when hungry. Don't worry about specific meal times.
If you are unwell or just not hungry why eat? The body tells you when you need do eat. If you don't need to, don't force it.

It is defo not enough! You need to get som fibre in there and friut at least.

You need to train your body to expect the next meal ASAP get it working. Drink water at least 2lts per day.

Plan to eat every three to four hours through the day.

I put on six stone over years , of not following this basic but essential rule. i was a shift worker that although ate what i thought sensibly .. I was clearly starving my body and eating crap..... and mistaking thirst for hunger.

The body needs food to burn properly and the food must be balanced throughout the day giving the body opportunity to sustain your met rate. Its worth mentioning that the rest time for the body is when your a sleep, and even then your are still burning if your work it out right.

Sorry to be a bearer of bad news, but Nom Yoghurts are not free......they are 2½ syns each I believe.
