Hi everyone :)
sorry havent been on much last couple of days just been having crappy and stressful time at work and you know how it affects everything :(
Really down at the moment and although I havent been that naughty on the diet (apart from wine) i have wanted to (which is just as bad I think).
I feel I havent got enough time to do anything and I just need some motivation to get back on track and get some cooking done.
Im pretty much eating the same thing every day as my imagination and determination seem to have disappeared :(
Im going to go shopping after work and buy a million eggs to make some more oopsies, going to try the ice cream too (how many carbs in that?) and the egg and sausage muffins. I just needed to get all of that off my chest :wave_cry:

Get it all off your chest, it'll help you feel better. Do you keep a journal? I do and have done for a couple of years. It helps me to get stuff out that I possibly won't talk about 'cos I think it's silly or something and helps me gain perspective.

Food wise, I think you're better off batch cooking at the weekend and freezing in portion sizes for the week when you don't have as much time. I have the Neris and India cook book and I keep meaning to share some recipes out of there so I might do that this weekend.

aww vicky, stick with it. have another look at the recipe threads and see if there is anything in there that tickles your fancy :D
i dont like cooking but have to cook on the atkins so am only just getting into the swing of things. havnt a clue what im going to eat today. so far had 2 coffee's with milk as run out of cream and have an unwell baby so impossible to cook. think i will live on pepperami's and cheese today :(

Good advice from Nic. I always try and plan my weeks eating before we go shopping on Saturday Vicky, that makes is simpler love.

yes i have been planning but i think with being away last weekend i didnt have the chance.
have just printed off some recipes and am gonna get cooking this weekend after ive filled in the most horrendous application form :(

BIG HUGS HUN!

I've not had the best week either (relationship wise) and so have been feeling really crappy too. I hope you feel a bit better soon and your motivation comes back. I knew mine has been flagging this week too.

I am having a tough week, too. Not sure why.

Had too much to drink last night and feel a wee bit rough!

The familiar cravings are bound to hit on and off. Dissatisfaction, boredom, stress, whatever. We automatically respond by turning to food - or wanting to. Old habits die hard.

We'll be okay x

chin up vicky i had a bad day last week and wanted bad food what with being off work and stuff but every1 on here got me through it and i stayed on plan so if i can do it you can do it to hun :gen126:

Oooooo yum! Not sure what to have tonight?? I had a fab omlette last night with a little onion and then some left over cold pork. It was SO delish.

Actually, I've decided. I'm going to have a big fat fry up! Bacon, mushrooms, scrambled AND a fried egg... mmmmm!

You've done better than me Vicky.. I've fallen off with a bump! Can't seem to get my head into the right space right now... I'll get there, guess my focus has been on other things.
aww Linz you havent been eating naughty though have you?
when i was off yesterday i just couldnt be bothered to do anything and i so just wanted toast cos its easy. With having no motivation im finding it quite hard as bread, cereal etc easy to make . I think we both need to get our heads round this.
I dont want to change diet at all just need a brain clear out I think.
