Extra Easy help please

Everyone is really helpful and supportive here. You are doing what you need to do. Ask questions if you need help, and answer questions and offer support if others need help. Good luck with your plan - I'm sure you'll do well. I am not on SW so don't know the answer to your questions - but I'm sure someone else will.

SW should be great for PCOS, as you will naturally lower the bad-carbs anyway. It'll be much better if you use wholegrain rice or pasta when you have it as well.

Basically, choose one healthy B and one healthy B and lots of free food (lean mean / fish / fruit / veg). Use frylight instead of oils for cooking.

What kind of thing do you like with your pasta? There's bound to be a good recipe or idea on the forum under recipes.

Don't be afraid to ask your consultant to run through the starter talk again - I think lots of people need to hear it twice, because on the first time you go to class you've got so much else going through your head (and often your heart if it's been a very emotional decision) and you feel nervous too.

Basically, once you get on SW section of minimins there are lots of subforums listed, and they're a great place to find advice. You can also search forums, as usually the topic has come up before. For example, if you went into the SW Recipes forum and wanted to search for a tuna pasta reciepe, you can type 'tuna pasta' in the search bar and the top right of the forum page, click on minimins and press search. Anything with the address that starts www.minimins.com/slimming-world-... (in green) will be specific to SW.

Hiya Snowy,

Im also doing slimming world, and doing the Extra Easy menu. Basically to cut along story short, you can eat freely from the food lists on the original free list, and the green free list. Choose ONE Healthy extra A choice and ONE Healthy extra B choice. You can have between 5 and 15 sins a day. With regards to pasta dishes and stir fry sauces, I had Tomato Chilli Pasta for my dinner. The sauce was made from 250ml passata, half a tin of chopped plum tomatoes, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 small chopped onion, chilli flakes, black pepper, one veg stock cube, with 200ml of water, and simmer for 30 minutes then mix into cooked spaghetti, if you want some grated cheese on the top that would be 6 syns or one healthy extra. Im a member of SW online, if you need any info I will try and help, has I am learning also :), did go to class a few weeks back, but it didnt do it for me, and Im still trying to get my head around it lol.

Can't add much to posts above except to say once you get your head around it the extra easy plan is great. It's so flexible and you get to eat normal meals. Check out the recipe section for inspiration but it's also really easy to make your gave recipes fit the plan too. Good luck x
