help!! weighing food??

When weighing food on weight watchers for example rice do u weigh it b4 it is cooked or after??
 
I always do it before its cooked ...
10g of uncooked pasta or rice is 1pp for example
100g of raw potato is 2pp
 
Thanx :)..its so confusing at times its my 4th week on weight watchers so still trying 2 get my head around it but i av been weighing rice afta it as been cooked which obviously gives u a smaller portion.
 
yeah i always weigh before.. i dont do it the other way as it gets confusing ...
 
Id b lost wiv out this site but i supose it does make more sense 2 weigh things b4 coookin...thanx again
 
Hi.. i asume it is. Is brown rice better than white rice and is ther much difference in the taste?
 
They say brown rice is better for you as it is higher in fibre but the taste is definitely different. It can be more firmer in taste and takes a lot longer to cook.
