Help with accessories for cycling - I'm a cycling newbie!

Hi all,

I've just bought a new mountain bike from Halfords and I was wondering what accessories I'm likely to need for day to day maintenance and cycling? I haven't been on a bike for years so it was a bit of an impulse purchase, but I need to do something in terms of exercise! The offer was also really good...£99 instead of £260!

Any recommendations for helmets that are ok to wear with glasses?

Thanks I've been absent due to a complete lack of motivation, and lots of work stress, but hopefully both of those are in check again xx

Just quickly, high viz, waterproof leggings which fold up slim, waterproof jacket, lock I like the 'D' shaped solid ones, I'm naughty and don't wear a helmet, I've been told off by the children!!!

I know nothing about bikes, but I did see that Aldi were doing some biking stuff, special offers from today.

Worth a look, although as I say, I know nothing so have no idea if it is any good.
