Extra Easy SP Help with chicken?!

I bought some of Tesco's BBQ chicken chunks which are 1/2 syn per 100g but I'm doing EESP this week and wondered if that still counts as P as it is chicken or if it just gets counted as syns?

Unfortunately, I think you still have to syn them.
I'll defo be buying some though, 1/2 for 100g pack is brilliant for something tasty like that to snack on
