    Hi everyone.. I need help!! I really need to lose weight and struggling to get started.. A couple of weeks ago, I worked out that to get to my goal weight I needed to lose 1.8lbs per week, every week until the beginning of September... I did begin losing weight, but then it came back, and now I can't shift it so now I am back at square 1. I can't afford LL, WW or anything like that.. Can anyone please give me some advice/help?

    Hello,

    Just read ur post, I also want to lose around 2lbs a week till sept then setting another goal after that (breaking up what I need to lose)

    I also cant afford all these diets like you mentioned so am just eating low calories, I started a couple of threads about the BIG challenge join in if you want

    Thanks very much for a quick reply.. do you do any excercise as well or is the weight that you have lost been due to cutting calories? How do you stick to it as well? I have no willpower what so ever!! i am so rubbush!! How do I join this Challenge thing? i'm new to this, and have no idea what I am doing.. and also how do you get all that information under your posts - seeing that kind of info on here would probably help me as I would be looking at it all the time.

    It really is all in your head and you are half way there by being sooo determined.
    I'm am sure you know how to loose weight, we all do really, but for some reason we don't trust ourselves to do it? Why is that.
    Why not trust your own judgement and exercise a little more, eat a little less! That costs nothing and it does work (says the girl CDing - I'm using up shakes before starting my own advise!)
    There's a great book that struck a lot of cords with me, and if followed would definatly work. No diet given, no exercise plan involved. It's called 'Beyond Chocolate' And basically you follow the explained rules of living like slim people do. Re-thinking how you approach food and exercise.
    Well done for at least thinking about it and getting started. Stick to your rules that work for you and that can be followed within your daily life. If a pre-determined diet is too strict and you rebel against it, it won't work. It has to work for you and be enjoyed by you for it to be followed. Who is the expert on you? You!     Im very much the same my willpower is so shocking I lose my motivation very quickly, but this time I am going to do it ha ha

    If you click on my name to the left < it will bring a drop down of things one of which is find more posts by x Nee x click on it and it will show all the threads I have posted or started so you should be able to find it there.

    At the top of the screen there is a option - user cp, if you click on that you can edit your details add an avatar (profile pic) and edit a signiture etc just have a play around and you will get it :)

    I do excersise but only really with walking the dogs, I cant afford Gym membership or the cost of swimming etc so i walks loads then use the beach in the summer, I am just doing low calories at the moment, I have used Xenical meds but thats based on fat's in the diet and I am more interested in calories

    Thanks for all your advice.. i've set my own little challenge for myself only.. and hope to do it.. you have both been great help and have motivated me to do this!! Thank u sooooo much :) xxx

    Good for you hun, Im the same but its nice if more join in (adds a little more pressure) in my case I need it hee hee
