Oh help oh help oh help!!!!

I've been off plan for just over a month now and I am struggling big time to stay on track.

On the plus side, I have only put a lb on maximum...even over Christmas..

I'm confident once I see some results again motivation will be back...but with being off work for another week, sitting at home, it's way too easy to eat the MOUNTAIN of chocolate everyone got me for Christmas!!!!

Help me...pleeeaassseee!!!!!!

Lol, poor you! Ok since you're at home this week why not have a look through some sw recipes for some inspiration and plan a weeks worth of meals for next week when you are back at work or if you are due to go shopping before then start that day! Go so far as to plan every breakfast, dinner and tea and also some tasty puds and also decide what plan you are having. Also think about making it a boost week by having lots of superspeed food, go back over your sw books to refresh yourself.
As for the mountain of chocolate....... send it to me lol joking, if you really want some then have it! Or keep your fav chocs and give the rest away or if you get really motivated chuck it away lol.
hope any of this helps and good luck

Being back here seems to have helped anyway :) which is a good start! Distracting me from that mountain of chocolate!!

How did Christmas treat you?

I reckon you haven't been anywhere near as bad as you thought, only gaining 1lb is fab!!!! I bet you would have gained way more in December pre-sw!!!

You are still doing the right things, even if not following 100%!!

Just tell yourself you will plan out and stick to food diary for a week, it will soon become 2nd nature again!

Agree with above - only 1lb on is brilliant.

Also, if you have time, have a read of some of the success stories here, have a think about why it is that you started this and what you want to achieve. You've done a great job so far, no reason why you can't/won't continue.

Good luck and keep us posted (including recipes !)

Thank you so much for all your words of encouragement ladies!!! I'm dreading going tonight...feel like a failure as been off for so long and not lost anything for 4 weeks but I think maybe going to group is the kick up the arse I need again! I guess the plus side of being off for 4 weeks is that if I have a 100% week I might get a first week loss :) (and my first one was 6lbs) so here's hoping aye! x

Well you've done fab so far admitting what you've done & also going back to class tonight. Why not log online & get the syn values for all of the chocolate you've got left & write the syns on the packets & then when you do fancy some you know which you can have with your syns.

Good luck tonight & well done for getting back on track xx

Hope you went on OK Joanna!
Like you I've got a mountain of choccies... but actually they're low syn so worth keeping if you can resist binging on them! I'm having a 4 day chocolate ban to get myself back into routine and then re-introducing them into plan!

Oh good idea!!! About the syn value on the pack!!! Weigh in not until 7.30. Bit of a drag....having to wait for tea until after then!!! Grrr!!! Will hopefully be ok...just need to face the music and deal with it!!!

After all that panic, only put on 3lbs which obviously I'm not happy about but considering that's over 4 weeks of being off plan, it could be a hell of a lot worse!!! thanks for all your words of encouragement ladies!! Back on plan this second!!! x

Well done Joanna,

3lbs is not bad for 4 weeks off plan including christmas. Well done for going and looking forward to hearing how you get on this week.
