Hi Headdown,
I always count veg and salad, although you can eat large portions of both for very little calories. One thing I have started to use is the pouches of veggies that you 'steam' in the microwave, most supermarkets their own brands, they are portion controlled and you have the exact calorie count for that portion. They seem to go from 38 calories to just below 100, depending what is in them.

thanks for that. I made a pan of veggie soup which used to be a 'free' food on WW. I have counted it as about 50 cals per serving. Much nicer than tinned still and very filling.
