Helsbels - getting back on the wagon!

This is 2nd week on SW (for about the 20th time) and 1st time on minimins - hello everyone :)
Im hoping that this time when i lose weight its for keeps ;)

This week ive been pretty bad - my weigh in is on Thursday, last Friday made the mistake of going out after work and getting slightly drunk then coming home and having take away chinese - oops, so have drawn a line under it and have been trying to limit my syns to no more than 5 a day. Im trying EE and today have had:

Breakfast
Muller fat free greek style luscious lemon yoghurt (0.5 syns)
Bowl of strawberries
2 Chocolate and Caramel Hi-fi bars (HexB)
250ml Oatly

Lunch
Rice
Butternut squash
Spinach
Cucumber
Fat free fromage frais mixed with corriander and white wine vinegar

Dinner
Beef Curry (last nights beef stew with curry powder added) - beef/celery/mushrooms/onions/parsnips/turnip
Potatoes
Mange tout

Going to try and drink at least 4 glasses water because a bit bloated at the mo - just hope friday hasnt scuppered my weight loss this week too much :mad:

Todays WI - getting a bit nervous - even if i lose .5 lb i'll be happy!

Having a EE day - at the moment looks like this

Breakfast
Bowl of strawberries
Kara coconut milk (HEXA)
12.5g special K (3 syns)

Lunch
Sweet and Sour mugshot
Brown roll (HEXB)
Salad - spinach/carrots/cucumber

Dinner
SW chips
2 Quorn Sausages (2syns)
Onion Gravy (1.5syns)
Brussel sprouts/leeks/green beans

Total syns - 6.5

Thanks babybuffy84 :) trying to be v good - a friend brought some home made brownies into work today and i nearly gave into temptation but took it home for DF instead

Green and blacks dark chocolate bar 15g (4syns)
More carrots :sigh:

Saturday - EE and mashoosive breakfast day :)

potatoe rosti - potatoe/egg/onion
bacon
mushrooms
2 slices wholemeal toast (HEXB)

Lunch
M&S sushi (1.5 syns)
Noodle salad - noodles/carrot/cucumber/red pepper
M&S soy and chilli dressing (0.5 syns)

Dinner
Homemade meatballs - extra lean mince/onion/garlic/steak seasoning/egg
Wholemeal pasta
Passata
Onion/mushroom/sugarsnap peas

Green and blacks dark chocolate 15g (4 syns)
 
Sunday 7th October (have been forgetting to put days)

Feeling a bit bloated again - not sure how though because have been drinking plenty, going to have a look through diary to see if can spot anything which might have caused it

Another EE day today

Breakfast
2 slices wholemeal toast (HEXB)
Bacon
Mushrooms/tomatoes/onions
1 egg
1tsp lurpak lightest (1 syn)

Lunch
SW quiche with leeks/courgettes/mushrooms/red pepper (HEXA)
Spinach salad

Leftover meatballs
mashed potatoe (1tsp lurpak lighter - no milk 1 syn)
Broccoli/carrots/cabbage

Snacks

going to mothers for dinner so will be having pudding of some description - going to allow myself 10 syns - will work it out properly when i find out what it is

Also going to gym today to get some body magic in then off for walk down the beach
 
Monday 8th October

Feeling a bit deflated today - normally when i'm like this reach for the nearest packet of crisps, today it was a bunch of grapes - not quite the same but im determined not going to give in!

Got a feeling not going to lose anything this week because stomach has swelled up like a balloon again :cry:

Tuesday 9th October - EE

Really really bloated today - probably the cheese from quiche
:mad: went for abdominal massage and felt a bit better afterwards but now just as bloated again - grrrrrr!

leftover SW quiche (HEXA)
Roasted butternut squash
Spinach

SW chips
Chargrilled quorn fillets (x2)
mangetout/orange pepper

no syns today - trying to save some for tomorrow

Thought I would join u on this diary as I too am trying to get back to it!!

I want a stone off by Christmas after gaining it in about 5 weeks! Lol. Why is it literally twice as easy to gain?! Xx
 
Hi Cai :) Tell me about it, i just have to look at a biscuit and put on a couple of pounds! I'd like to lose a stone by xmas too - we can do this!!! ;) x
 
Wednesday 10th October
:cry:OMG - what have i done! Just come back from dads bday tea and god knows how many syns have clocked up

Day before that looked like this

Breakfast
28g porridge (HEXB)
450ml kara coconut milk (HEXA)
frozen strawberries and blueberries

Lunch
Forgot half of my lunch so ended up going to M&S and getting sushi (3.5 syns) to go with
2 quorn fillets
packet of mange tout

Dinner
Tikka paneer
King prawn curry (tomatoe based)
half bowl pilau rice
2 - yes 2 whole chips
small (half the size of my hand) piece naan bread

im going to say about 50 syns and just pray that it wont affect weight loss (not that holding out much hope of losing anything in WI tomorrow) - still its my own fault, i should have stuck to what i had planned in 1st place

Well WI tonight and have put on 1.5 lbs - it is star week so not sure whether thats had something to do with it or just the massive curry i had last night - either way its not going to stop me, getting right back to things tomororw!

half a cucumber/2 carrots
2 slices bread from 400g loaf

(maybe some potatoes if mega hungry)

2 hifi bars (HEB)

Mouths drooling just thinking about sw quiche -mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
