I know this has been covered a lot on the forum already, but I needed some new ideas.

I'm not massively keen on black tea, so have been drinking a lot of peppermint tea which I love. However, I'm getting a little bored of it so was wondering whether anyone could give me a list of some other herbal teas to try? I've no idea whats allowed and not allowed so any advice would be helpful.

Also, was wondering about earl grey - there seems to be a bit of a split on that one on the other tea posts I've read...

Thanks in advance

I think it is a definite NO for the Earl Grey tea. The reason is that it has added Bergamot Oil which is made from the rind of the Bergamot Orange ..... which is a citrus fruit.

I drink alot of peppermint tea but also love peppermint and nettle tea, basically you can have any leaf teas so black, green, mint, nettle, not sure about white? but nothing from fruit, flower or seed :)

I drink Green Tea with Ginkgo Bilboba - it is the Double Dragon brand, you can get it from the health shop. I really love the taste, and it really does kill the hunger pangs I get.

I think it might be an acquired taste though as I tried to give some to my partner who is doing the CD with me and he said it tastes like weeds boiled from the backyard….to each his own though, I really like it. :wavey:

I think the earl Gray is made from bergamot flowers, hence the wee petals.

I drink

Green tea
Mint tea
Rooibos tea
White tea (its just very young green tea leaves)
nettle tea

as above, anything as long as its nor fruit, flower or seed

I wondered this too. I was told by my CDC that you cant have any teas that are flowers or fruit only leaf. But wondered if you can have liquorice tea? Roibush tea is nice and quite refreshing. Fennel tea is nice too

I wasn't sure about white, but assumed it would be a leaf tea so thankyou for that Lexie Dog, I've never tried it :)
