    thought id start one....

    been doing herbalife on and off for about 4 weeks but not taken it too seriously until now.
    im also doing marathon training, with a high metabolatism. always hungry :(

    my aim is not to lose weight as such, but to lose body fat.

    todays plan is
    vanilla free from shake & green tea

    12 mile run and PT sesh
    protein shake & half a protein bar

    L: hot strawberry shake & fruit

    S: half a protein bar

    T: 3 quorn sausages & veggies

    plenty of water!

    so i guess drinking the shakes hot is ok? i am trying this but it is hard i get terrible gas and nausea. keep posting, i find it encouraging!!!

    i love the hot shakes after a workout, my temperature drops very quickly.
    the chocolate chake could be made hot, and feel like a treat hot chocolate! im not a choccie fan so wouldnt do it myself but strawberry is really nice hot.

    run, body pump and PT sesh done, now to rest!

    I have tried the chocolate shake hot and also the cookies and cream one hot too! They make a nice change and when the temperature drops outside I don't feel like having a cold shake x

    already feeling the ache from this morning.... owch.

    bought some fruit and veggies to have too. yay

    i might have to start increasing my proper meals in the next few weeks, ill soon be on 22 mile runs at the weekend. right now its at 12 miles on the weekend but the miles are increasing all the time

    Do you know that herbalife do other products for when your training? I haven't got a clue what they are called so I might not much help but it might be worth looking into x

    This is where someone would find the protein powder useful. Upping your protein doing training like this is good especially as you don't appear to be eating very much at all.

    That's right they do a special sports brand, black and green containers I think. Is it 24 or something. I can't remember but it's supposed to be good. They're the sponsors of LA Galaxy

    looked into it, and only vanilla flavour.

    i use USN pure protein now, its 40g protein and 2.2g carbs per 2 scoops.
  11. Hello.. New to this.. but they are called Herbalife24.. a friend of my brothers uses them and he swears by them... lots to pick from too

    How do you measure your body fat? Is it on home scales?

    very tempted by these, ill wait until ive used at least one of my tubs of regular shakes first, currently have 3 opened! :p

    i use the scales in boots, 70p to get bf and weight measured.

    well todays been fab.
    B: tropical shake and cup of regular tea (no sugar, i dont like sugar in my hot drinks)
    S: protein bar
    L: tropical shake and water
    S: protein bar, coffee no sugar

    7.6 mile run

    T: quorn lamb style grill with sprouts and broccoli

    been abusing the free water at work today. that machine will run out of cups soon...

    normally sunday is my free day so ill allow a bag of doritos later on!
    todays plan:

    fast walk (2 miles) and body combat
    B: banana and tropical shake
    S: fruit
    L: fajita's made with quorn
    spinning and body pump
    T: vanilla shake (hot)

    (naughty sunday treat- bag of dorito's)

    free day? I count my cals and cant afford anything free...must be doing something wrong. O well I can start again tomorrow

    i only have a free day as im quite active, i burn off alot of the cals easily in the classes/running so a day where im free to have a snack is something i can look forward too :)

    L: veggie soup and yoghurt
    S: protein bar
    3 1/2 mile run and body combat
    T: small portion curry and rice
    weights session at home, and resistance bands

    T: grilled chicken and cabbage
