So day 1, start weight 14stones exactly

Breakfast - 145g kipper, mushrooms, latte with 100ml soya milk (0.2g carbs)

Lunch - None - felt ill, 2 cups of tea with 100ml soya milk (0.2g carbs again)

Dinner - tandoori chicken and salad

Calories - 1017
Carbs - 4g (16 cals)
Fat - 74g (666 cals
Protein - 76g (304 cals)

Hmm I should cut some of the protein down?

I was counting calories just because I saw a post saying calories should come from a 65% fat/30 %prot/5% carb split and wanted to make sure I was doing it right. It doesn't seem to matter much until you're in the later stages from what I see...?

Anyway yesterday was terrible, I've caught Norovirus and ended up drinking iced water all night on nightshift. One of the carers made me a slice of dry toast which I ate as I'd had nothing all day bar 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon at 9am, and then a stick of celery all day. I tried to eat my chinese pork and salad but was very ill.

So today - still feeling a little nauseated but hanging in there.

B: Couple slices chinese pork and a celery stick sliced
L: None
D: 200g pork, 150g cabbage, 100g mushrooms, 2 red chillies
S: Soya milk 250ml 0.5g carbs

Total carbs for the day: 13g
