Just joined and thought I would quickly introduce myself

I am a 36 year old male who has let himself go since leaving the Army 10+ years ago, I am making a concerted effort to lose weight and get fit (lost a stone so far this year)

Going to join a gym next week, so I hope that I will loose a bit more, as I seem to have stopped losing any weight at the moment. I am following a low GI eating plan and hope to lose another 2 stone but am finding it hard to lose any more but glad to say I am not putting any on.

Hello Brookei and welcome to this site, its full of support and helpful advice.

Well done on your lose so far, your already a third of the way there. You will shift the rest soon enough.

I bet having an army background will help and kick in when you start using the gym. Working out and training you will soon see those final pounds melting away i'm sure.
