Hi ladies/Gents
My name is Ro :D
Im starting Slimfast tomorrow Mon21st June
and would love some tips/advice
Im goin to do the 321
Can i mix it with the Tesco slim mix?
Do i have to stick with Slimfast?
Im just over 15st and want to ask how much should i expect to lose per week?
I know i shouldnt expect miracles,ive tried so many and seem to get nowhere :cry:

hi and welcome to slim fast.
yes you can have different shakes from different stores. they are all mainly the same.
you should see a big loss of around 5lb's (only guessing the weight loss on this!) in your first week as it will be mainly water you lose. after that then you will be losing body fat and should aim to lose no more than 3lb's a week. i know we want the weight to fall of in large quantities but we didnt put it on over night and it will take time coming off. also losing a safe 1lb to 3lbs a week will mean you have a good chance of keeping it off in the long run!
try and get in at least 2lts of water a day.

Hi Ro,

I too am starting the slim fast journey today (im working my way through my breakfast shake as we speak!!)
Think positive and about all the weight your gonna loose and you will be fine, it seems pretty easy to stick to!
Have a read of all the blogs on here and read some peoples diarys, theyre very interesting and also you will pick up hints and tips too!

Good luck with it, enjoy your journey, although we are all depriving ourselves in some way, there is no better feeling than seeing a loss on the scales each week, so it can be an enjoyable experience!!

Hi newbies I had my first weigh in last Tuesday and lost four pounds. I have the meal bars instead of shakes. Yeah just drink loads of water. Good luck.

what snacks can you eat on slim fast? i have just started today also and i had a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch and just had a chocolate digestive biscuit now im not having anything until i have dinner around 6ish i am having tuna pasta with onions peppers and salad xxxx
