    Hello all. Well I'm currently on day 3 of the atkins, and feel ever so tired and a tad irritable. I've heard of the "atkins flu" could this be what I'm experiencing? And does it take long to dissapear! Any advice much appreciated. Determined not to throw the towel in. :)

    dont give up. Sounds like the flu. drink plenty of water and eat plenty of protei and battle on. You will feel fantastic soon x

    Yes - hang in there. It's really worth it to get through and for me quite surprising just how bad carb withdrawal was:eek:

    Hi Pratty and welcome - you will get through it in a day or so and then feel much better, just glug the water and picture all those useless (nutritionally) carbs flushing away :)
