I get a weekly email from Travelzoo, with a sweep of the best deals, and because it's so miserable I thought I'd post some nice holiday ideas.

10 days in Morocco, anyone?

Morocco Holidays: £598 -- Morocco: 10-Night Twin-Centre w/Camel Ride, £249 Off | Travelzoo

Or how about Valentine's Day in Venice? £119 including flights and hotel

Venice Holidays: £119 -- Valentine's in Venice: 3 Nights & Flights, 45% Off | Travelzoo

Would love both of them!

I did promise myself that if I got a bonus this year I would have a holiday, but knowing me it will go on house stuff as normal lol!

Would love to be in a pool bar with the sun warming my back sipping a cocktail or two!

Oooooo Susie - you're talking my language. I live for my holidays! Would deffo take either of those deals if we didn't have children. ;)

Best holiday ever was this year's in Florida - kiddies were big enough to do everything and go on everything for the first time. Next best was Hawaii and Las Vegas on honeymoon, love love love New York, love Paris, ooooh, Prague is one of my faves too, and Amsterdam. And San Francisco. Actually I can see a pattern here - I much prefer city holidays to sun sea and sand holidays. Love mooching around town. I'll keep my ambition to see every capital in Europe until the children have left home though - till then I'll stick with Florida. Key West is my favourite place in the whole world I've just decided. :)

Shall I stop now? :D

I love Venice - spent xmas there a couple of years ago (shame about the company) wonderful place. Id like to redo my holiday I did with mum years ago. Singapore for 3 days, orient express from singapore through malaysia up to Bangkok. We were at Bridge over the river Kwai on 11/11 was very moving. Bangkok for 3 days (might skip that wasnt too impressed) then chiang Mai for 3 days then a spa in hua hin for 3 days :D was amazing - lots of sights and shopping and the food was out of this world.

I love camping, just not in this weather, although we were in Keld one year (end March/Beg April) and woke up to the cars frozen up - loo was at the top of the hill, but it took that long to thaw your bladder out lol

My fave holiday destination is Gran Canaria, or Fuertaventura, went to Egypt early this year - 50th pressie for OH and it would have been fantastic if we had not both been ill lol
