Homemade Baked Beans

6 oz Haricot beans (soak in cold water for half an hour)
Salt & pepper
Passata or 1 can finely chopped tomatoes
Sweetner/Sugar (optional)

Drain beans and add fresh water
Add salt & pepper
Bring to boil and the simmer until beans cooked ensuring that beans do not stick to bottom of pan.
When beans almost cooked add Passata/can of tomato
Cook until liquid evapourated but not dry
Add sugar/sweetner to taste

I have it without sweetner as I prefer it more savoury.

Can eat it with almost any dish.
