Ok mum is doing Gammon, egg and chips for the boyfriend and i won't have had anymore than 500 calories by team time. Do we think me having a plate of homemade chips and gravy will be ok, how many calories do we think?

Potatoes chopped and put in a fryer!! I know a fryer isnt great but will they really be that bad if i have nothing else but gravy with them?

You should get your mum to make Slimming world chips...delish and no fat!!!
There are 239 calories in 100g Fried 'chip-shop' Chips. Thinner chips hold more fat....so have higher calorie count

I would think the 450 would cover the chips and gravy (very rough estimate here). What about the gammon and egg though?

You'd be better having the g and e with few chips. More satisfying in the long run.

Fair enough. Would be good to add the egg though ;) But if you just want a plate of chips and it's within your calorie allowance, it wont hurt occasionally:)
