Hey guys
Don't know if anyone's interested but I made savoury rice from scratch! Tastes just like bachelors savoury rice and it's still free and tasty!
Homemade Savoury Rice
120g long grain rice
1 heaped tbsp chopped onion
1 heaped tbsp chopped red pepper
1 heaped tbsp chopped yellow pepper
1 heaped tbsp chopped green pepper
1/4 tsp turmeric
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
500m boilingl water
1 chicken stock pot or cube
o dissolve the stock in the water
o place all the ingredients in a pan and bring to the boil
o cover and simmer for 20minutes
Delicious!!!!
(this makes the same amount as a packet would)
