Hovis wheatgerm

Hi Newbie here I asked my hubby to buy a small loaf of hovis wholemeal bread and he came home with a small hovis wheatgerm bread. Can I still use this as my healthy extra b option or is it syns? Thank you

I found this on an old thread so not sure how accurate the syn value is but I think it definitely is syns, and it's probably close to this. Only wholemeal counts as Healthy Extra B except for a few certain ones chosen by SW I believe.

Hovis Original Wheatgerm Bread, 400g/800g medium sliced loaf 1 slice

4½ Syns on Extra Easy Original 4½ Syns Green 4½ Syns

Chipmunk is right - it doesn't count as a healthy extra because it is not wholemeal I'm afraid

I had issues with this as well, have now stuck religiously to wholemeal. Maybe there should be a sticky about bread...?

Hee hee! My OH always gets things like that wrong when doing the shopping! He comes home and I'm like * sad face* "oh...I can't eat that" Poor men!

The 400g wheatgerm loaf is 3.5syns per slice. The 800g loaf is 4.5syns.
