How Often do you weigh?

I weigh once a week, first thing on a Monday morning ( after I've been to the loo of course ;))
It is really hard not to scale hop every day though:rolleyes: and some weeks I'll hop on mid week, but I try not to.

Its hard though isn't it Chala? Its so tempting, just hop and see how you're doing. The thing I found was that when I did do this, if I had a gain one day, then the fact that our weight is always fluctuating due to fluid ( and for us women, hormones :rolleyes:), never entered my head, it was obviously due to me eating something I shouldn't, and sooth myself I ate away my frustration that did lead to a weight gain :mad:
So as hard as it is, and tempting, try not to pop on the scales between weigh ins

Every week, thursday at 11am on the dot.. last week i did go through abit of a hopperthon, but its the 1st time iv ever done that and to be honest it just got me down when id seen id put on or only lost a pound.. so now am back to once a week

I'm like Chala, every morning and night! I know it's not good, but sometimes it does help! This evening, I am going out for a curry with some friends, and I know it's going to get messy, but getting on those scales morning, and seeing it go down, is such a better feeling that it could be tomorrow if I relaxed a little tonight.

My intention was only to weigh in with the dr, this turned to weekly and more recently daily!!!! Have not lost anything for 5 days in a row - motivated me to get my 30 day shred on AND join the gym this morning!!!! Will do my first gym workout for over a year this evening!

i have 2 sets of scales on my bathroom 1 digital and 1 mechanical i used to weigh literally daily but the scales are a load of cack so its now monday morning in boots and monthly with the doc xxx

I try to weigh once a week but sometimes I'll have a midweek peek :)

i use to do it every morning and then get upset when it was massively different. now i do it just once a week x

I weigh once a week at boots, if I had scales in the house I'd be weighing everyday (probably more) and would get dis-heartened if I didn't lose or went up during the week. I got rid of my scales lol

How did it go at the gym?

I felt so good after! Went again this morning but just a quick one as my son had a 30 min settling in session at the creche. Have booked him in for two hours tommorow so will spend 1 hour in the gym and 1 hour in the spa!

who knew exercise could be addictive!! i LOVE going swimming now ive gone monday tuesday today and tomorrow!

Great when you find something you love!!!!

DH has a christmas work party in just under four weeks - I bought a dress from ebay in a size too small so really have the motivation to go for it as I love the dress and don't want to have to buy something else!
