How's my menu looking?? HELP!

Hey guys! :) Am new to this part of minis so hello!

Just wondering if you lot on here could check out my menu for me. According to the bmr calculator I need 2,289 to maintain my weight so cutting 1,000 off that to lose 2lbs per week leaves me needing 1,289calories a day.

Today is a struggle. I can't seem to get my calories anywhere near without just adding in junk for the sake of it?

I'm also about to go out for a run so that will knock off another 350calories atleast so I will be under 1,000 cals for the day .. help!!!

B- porridge & s.s milk 271

125ml pure oj 59

*banana 95

L- 130g chicken breast 192
80g cabbage 22
80g broad beans 70
80g green beans 21
150g sweet potatoe 171

*mullerlight 100

D- tin tuna 138
sweetcorn 53
elf salad cream 30

S.total = 1,238 (without taking off the cals for my run)

How about a lovely avocado or two? Or some peppered mackerel? Soon gets your cals up in a healthy way :)
I can't say I ever struggle to meet my 1200 - but on exercise days, where I often have 3000+ extra to eat, I really do struggle!

Maybe also add something to your dinner so it's not just tuna and sweetcorn?? Maybe some salad, pasta, something like that?

That's the thing. I have to eat my dinner in work where I only get a 10minute break in which to eat it unless I spread it out over 2/3breaks x

I'd defo add something to your dinner. I agree about pasta or something cooked before you go to work and have it cold with the salad.

Or drink fruit juice?

I've often struggled to boost up the calories, I think it has something to do with the mindset "I'm on a diet, so should be eating lettuce all day".

Some of the advice I've had is drinking juice, like the poster said before, which I find easy to fit in as I'm not always hungry for more food. I've also added a few nuts to nibble on in the day as they can be higher in calories but are good for you. You could also add some fruit or currants to your porridge in morning or add a flap jack to your daily intake.

I'm finding that I have to eat more often with little snacks throughout the day.
