Week 3 WI and only lost 1lb12oz I feel realy down as I wanted to hit the 1 stone mark, I cant believe I was so near. I thought I would lose more this week with only losing 3 pounds last week.It looks as though my body loves it's fat.....

DON'T PANIC !!! it'll al even out in the end :)

STICK WITH IT !! you can't NOT lose weight on just 500/600 cals per day - have you checked your inch loss ??

sometimes those pesky scales only tell half the story....and inch loss is more reliable !

stay on track, glug the water, take your packs and prepare to SHRINK !!!

Don't get down as the losses will even out over a month......Sometimes you can stay the same on the scales for days, then the next day show a loss, so it WILL happen.....

well done - a pound is a pound lost and gets you nearer the target. Good luck for a good loss next week and glad those inches are disappearing!x

    Hi Newme :)

I just wanted to echo what great advice everyone has already said. It's true, the scales are NOT the only measure of your success, I think we just get hooked into that sometimes and it can really put us on a downer:sigh:

12 inches in total is brilliant so stick with it hun and just see what happens next week!!:D

    Lacey ..xx :)

I say that the reason we decide to go on any diet if because of what we see in the mirror or in photographs of us, therefore, what the scales say is only one way of monitoring our progress. It's the inches lost that tell the real story. I've talked myself up after MY disappointing loss on week 3 and know that I'll keep going now until I get to my target. YOU can do it and I'm sure you will too.

Well done, that's brilliant! I am now weighing monthly and I think it's going to be so much better having a big loss each month than worrying about the weekly losses. So, even if you do weigh weekly, just remember to take the monthly figure as this is the true representation x

Don't despair - bigger losses are looming in the wings....I've had a few 1lb losses, but always followed by a better one the next week. x

well done...we don't put weight on overnight soooo although it would be nice to think we didn't have to diet for longer than a week it doesn't work like that (

that would be so cool though wouldn't it???

Anyway... your lose is great..keep it going!! Good luck!
