I cannot get the fact out of my head that when I lose all my weight I will have very loose saggy skin, as I was 31/32 stones a few years ago and now 24 stones, But I am so scared of having loads of excess skin :cry:I know to be healthier and lose weight is the best thing for me, But I am finding myself worrying so much about how I will look when I have lost the weight, I have very low self esteem as it is, I am going to continue...Not gonna give up ;) But is anyone else worried about this? Is there anything I can do to help with this problem? I can't stop getting angry with myself for letting myself get this huge...GGRRR* Sorry for the rant just worried :(

awww *hugs* I think everyone losing a large amount of weight worries about this. I have about 6 stone to lose and i know il be "floppy" after but im just hoping i can tone up!
Why don't you go have a chat with your gp and talk through your options? Maybe they know something to help. I know there moisturizers and oils out there to tone up the skin i just dont know which is best!

Chin up sweetheart, your doing the right thing and you have already come so far!

Thanks sweetie, Yeah I may have a few words with my GP No harm in asking...Just scared of doing all the hard work and then being down about how I look when I have reached my goal.. but I guess I have to do something about it such as try and tone up like you said or try other methods, If not there is always the option of surgery in the future if all else fails :):) But we shall see..That would be my last option though..Thanks hon! I think it is my top second molar, It is doing my head in..I must have taken like 20 pills today  Nothing seems to be easing it off, I think Vickie L on here said something about getting ice in a wrap and holding it against my mouth and it did kind of work, I always thought it would make it worse so if you read this ta Vickie :p Hope you're treatment goes well sweetie :)

Hiya. I can understand how you feel as I have 10 and ideally 13st to get rid of. I know for a fact I am going to have loose hanging skin. Been trying to remember to moisturise every day with palmers cocoa butter with a drop of bio oil in (helps the oil last longer I think).

All credit to you for getting 8 or 9st off, congrats. :)

Laura I have nearly 9 stone to lose and know I will have loose skin afterwards. I am much older than you so my skin has less elasticity (sp?) than yours. You have youth on your side and you are doing all the right things by keeping it moisturised and drinking plenty of water. When you get to target and maintain and still have loose skin then I'm sure your GP will see you as suitable for surgery. Keep doing what you are doing and good luck.

Thanks very much. :) Well I dunno if the palmers and bio oil will do much but my skin'll be as smooth as a baby's bot. :D

Actually I don't really know for sure if I will end up with loose skin perhaps we'll be lucky!
