I feel utterly pathetic even writing this, but I went off sole source again yesterday. I'm not feeling well and yesterday was the worst. Felt really queasy so mid-afternoon decided I needed some warm food to eat.
Spent the rest of the day hating myself for it.
I need to stop sabotaging myself. I know this diet works and it is only for a short amount of time, yet my brain says 'one more day eating won't hurt'. It's like a vicious circle.
I still feel a bit sickly today but am determined not to fall again.
Has anybody else had as many stop-starts as me on Cambridge? I seem to have had loads. :break_diet:

:hug99: Dont be to hard on yourself, I mustve been the start stop queen, I lost 30lbs last year (started in feb) had a planned weekend off and only managed to restart properly in july this year lol.

Its such a hard diet to start and you will get there 1 thing I will say is, I am on week 7/8 and on the days were I have felt a little ill, weak, mega hungry, I have noticed the scales move the next day, so maybe you feeling out of sorts is your body shifting some lbs, think of this next time your having a weak moment, it just might help :)
    Good luck

Maybe a higher step with food involved would work better for you. Although the weight is lost a bit slower, in the long run it might be quicker than not being able to stick to SS.

If you really are determined to SS, then another shot at it won't do any harm. Just give it all you've got. You haven't really given yourself chance to get in to ketosis, so if you can make it that far, I'm sure you will then find it much easier.

Hi don't beat yourself up about this. I have been on CD for 4 weeks and have had a few times when I have eaten food. Just dust yourself off and go straight back to 100%. Although this is not ideal it's better than thinking " oh I've eaten today so I'll start tomorrow". If you do feel you have to eat just have something low or no carb. If you are finding things too difficult maybe you could look at doing SS+. Just bear in mind once you are in ketosis you're cravings will go, you will have more energy and things will become easier. Good luck . Also if you fancy something warm there's always the porridge or soup.

don't be hard on yourself...has taken me months to get my head in the game just take every day as it comes...blips happen but all part of your journey :) maybe start with ss + for first couple of weeks till you are in ketosis, still similar losses to ss xx

Yes I think the same as everyone else hun, Give SS another shot but if you are really finding it that hard, I would suggest doing SS+ as then you can satisfy those food demons! Also weight losses are just a little less than SS, so dont think that you're failure if you have to go up a plan. SS is just not for everyone! xxx

Thank you all for the advice. I'm determined to try my best to stick at SS this time round. Still not feeling well today but I've got to do this, so no excuses!
Thanks again for all the support. It has helped me so much.

Great news. Just take it an hour at a time until you are in ketosis and make it to your first weigh. I'm a stop-start queen and it took me 5 years to get my head in the game and get to grips with CD. Stay strong hun xx
