:grouphugg:Well done you for being brave enough to make that massive step. You know we will all be here for you when you need us. I'm sure you'll be feeling rubbish for a while but every day you will get that little bit stronger and see all the reasons why you know you had to do it.
Sending you a big hug.

I probably should go home but I am trying to keep my mind off it as much as possible.

I guess it is bound to be harder today than it ever will be. I don't think it will sink in for some time, I hope it continues to get better for you too.

Big hugs to you Beccubug. It does get easier I promise.

I walked out on a very destructive relationship last October, with my 12 week old daughter in tow. Thought it would be the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but the relief of getting out and getting away was far greater than the sadness of leaving him. 9 months on and I have built a whole new life for myself - the final stages of which involve shifting the extra 11 stone I have been carrying around for the last god know how many years!!!!!

A BIG hug from Norway as well! I think you are really brave! I promise that it will be better after some time, just take it a day at the time! Take care!

Hi, I'm also on my own now and it gets easier. I still cry but can control it better now. Try and look forward - not back. I know from previous experience, these things happen for the best and in time you'll say 'I should've done that ages before, was the best thing I ever did' Chin up!

Thanks everyone, and on the plus side I was 10st 8lbs on the scales this morning. Wait till he sees me with a size eight body in a few months, he will then see what he has lost.
