I feel so pleased with myself :)

Well... I struggled... I climbed the wall... I dropped off the wagon... I ate excessively... and its been a while since I had motivation on this diet... I can safely say I am back on track.. I am taking it one day at a time but the next few weeks are gunna be great

Tonight I was invited to a leavin party because one of the departments at my work closed down... All expenses paid, buffett and free alcohol..... I turned up at 4pm and the alcohol was flowing...

(I work for the London fire brigade... and the commissioner turned up to do his little speech... I think I looked quite impressive being one of the only ones still sober in the place!!!)

Anyway....

Happy to say that although they opened all the delish food at about 5pm I stuck with fizzy water until I left at about 8ish... The others were going on to some kinda nightclub/bar or whatever but I called it a night as I went gym today and am knackered!!

Just wanted to announce my little victory against the buffet

I came home on the bus feeling SO happy

Buffet's are so difficult aren't they as they are full of tiny lovely pieces that are tempting because they are small and tasty. I know exactly what you went through and how hard it was. The good thing is that they are not a really common event (well not for me anyway).
