Could someone please just check my menu for today...just so I know I haven't messed up anywhere - day 1 for me today and I'm a bit worried I might have got it a bit wrong. If someone could just have a look for me, I'd REALLY appreciate it :D

    Breakfast

    Fruit (free)

    Lunch

Batchelors chicken & mushroom pasta'n'sauce (free)
    Mullerlight yogurt (free)

    Dinner

    Jacket potato (free)
    baked beans (free)
    42g Cathedral City Lighter (HEa)
Homemade coleslaw made with 60g (4 tablespoons) of x/l mayo (3 syns)
113g (raw weight) chicken breast with cajun spices (HEb)

    Extras (throughout the day)

    250ml semi-skimmed milk (HEa)
    Mullerlight yogurt (free)
    Fruit (free)
2 x alpen light bar (HEb)
1/2 alpen light bar (1.5 syns)

Is that all right?????? I wasn't sure if the cajun spices are free, but assumed they are. And also, the book syns the mayo by 'level tablespoon' and on the jar of mayo it says 'per tablespoon - 15g' so I assume 60g is right, being the same as 4 level tablespoons...??

I hope that's right, because I've loved today!!

It sounds as if you started out on an extra easy day but that means you could only have one HeA and one HeB, you've had two of each unfortunatly. This is fine if you're choosing a red or green day but not on extra easy. On a red day you can have unlimited meat and on green you can have unlimited carbs (potatoes, pasta, rice etc) and extra easy you mix the two but only have one HeA and one HeB. You'll get it don't worry!

Your plan is fine for a green day so don't worry! By the way your cajun spices is free.

As long as you made the Pasta n Sauce up with only water, no milk or butter and the mayo tablespoons were level then all looks good. You need a few more syns, between 5-15 per day - the more the better, other than that it's perfect!

I didn't use butter, but I did use milk - but it came out of 250ml's daily allowance, so that's ok, is it?

I'm too scared to have more syns!...I feel like I've eaten too much today!!!

This is mad - I remember people coming onto the WW forum saying they were too scared to use up their points....it used to drive me nuts - I was one of the first ones to jump in and tell them they needed to use up all their points...yet here I am, doing exactly the same thing here  And on that note, I'm off to find something to munch on for a few more syns...heehee!

I do have a night planned round a friends house this weekend and we were planning chinese and wine - so I think I might try and save my syns for that.

Hmm...wonder how many syns I'd need to save for a bottle of wine and a chicken chow mein...?? Heehee! :D

Oh now I'm confused, hahaha. My friend gave me the book - it's a SW book, a recent one - she was doing SW a couple of months ago and leant me her books. I thought it said in there that 2 tablespoons of Helmans Extra Light Mayo was 1.5 syns.........

Thats probably right then, the amount dino posted was for 2 spoonfuls... must be like WW points 0.5 for 1 but 1.5 for 2... maybe?? lol
