In the column on the left-hand side of the list of topic threads, there occasionally appears a small icon - an angry face, a question mark, a thumbs up, etc.
What I am not sure about is whether this is something that the original poster puts in when starting the thread to indicate their intentions (and if so, how?), or whether it is something which someone else adds to show their opinion of the thread.
There is probably something somewhere on the website which explains this, but I have not been able to locate it.
