Hi all

I didn't get weighed last week as I was at a wedding. I'd done a week of refeed (first 3 days to the letter, days 4-7 a little bit more relaxed) prior and didn't worry about the food and drink for the wedding. I'd planned for it so knew there was a possibility I'd gain.

I ate the meal at the wedding, had a fair few glasses of wine, then the next morning I went and had an english breakfast (all planned) and on Saturday night I hit the wine again.

I went back on the shakes on Monday morning and went to get weighed this morning. I was expecting a gain but would have been happy with a maintain.

Well, I've lost 3lbs!!!!! Could not believe it.

SO, I think this just goes to prove that the re-feed doesn't have to be so scary. I was worried about it but there was no need.

Only 17lbs to target now!! Whoop whoop!!

i'll be eating 1 day next week for my birthday so hopefully i wont gain either.

LOL well done on losing, that's very impressive if you weren't very regimented on your refeed.

I'll be doing it for 4 weeks, so will be regimented! :) good to hear you managed a loss though, good luck with the rest of your journey.

I have wedding next sat.. I'm chief bmaid so I am up at top table .. so I want to eat for the day. Whole point of LT was to fit into dress... but want to continue LT after wedding.

What do I do, just have shakes till then and just eat on the day? or refeed a few days upto it??? How many days?

Sorry for questions, I dont want to mess this up......

I would advise to start refeed today or tomorrow. You need to reintroduce food gradually otherwise you will pile all your weight back on.

Also, if you're wanting to have alcohol your body has to be out of ketosis or it could be very dangerous. You need to start refeed asap.

There is a re-feed sheet on there in the re-feed section. I followed it to the letter for the first three days, then I ate healthily but didn't follow it to the letter. I couldn't manage to get all the bread and spuds down although I did eat a lot of fish.

At the wedding I just ate the meal. I didn't go mad but I did have a couple of roast potatoes and some bread and butter with the soup, and I had coffee with cream. I couldn't eat it all though just because I think my stomach has shrunk.

I went back on the shakes on Monday and I've been fine so far.

Well done on your loss and thank you for the post. I will refeed for a week before I have to go away for the weekend starting next Friday. I have been getting quite worried about it but your posts has calmed me down.

I will read the refeed stuff ..

I DONT WANT TO EAT! .. oh god 3 weeks ago, i loved the stuff.. LT is addictive!

On the day, I plan on having soup and some turkey and ham and that's it .. no carbs.. afraid of bloating out on the day... after trying so hard.. I don't drink alcohol... (thank god) one less thing to worry about..
