I'm back after my holiday folks and back on track!

Hi all,

Been away from, here for a few weeks. Had a break from the diet while sis was here on hols. I gained 16lb, but am pleased to say that I've got 12lbs of that gain OFF!!

It's been very hard getting back onto it but I knew I HAD to stick with it cos I have no other option.

My dilemma is that my dads coming to stay this weekend and I'm going off my diet for 3 days. I don't intend on pigging out, we have healthy home-cooked meals planned for when dads here. But I'm scared that with all this stop-starting, my weight loss will slow right down again?

Hi and welcome back

Your weight loss rate will depend on calorie intake versus energy output. Why don't you include some trips to some local forest walks/national parks in your Dad's visit so that you can get some long walks in while spending time together. Enjoy the visit and enjoy the food but don't let it give you permission to binge; concentrate on enjoying the taste and texture and then start CD again when you are ready.
