I see various people post about 'lost x amount of inches this week' and I wondered, is there a sort of standard set of measurements that people go by?

    Eg, I measure the following
    Bust
    Waist
    Hips
    Thigh
    Calf
    Arm
Neck (am paranoid about my fat neck)

and if I total that lot up I have lost a lot of inches in the last three weeks. But if we go by usual bust/waist/hips then its obviously a lot less.

Just wondered - otherwise I'm comparing apples with oranges (or maybe pears)

    Cheers
    Liz

On the record card there's space for bust, waist, hips, arms, thighs, and so that's what my CDC measures. Though, I also measure under my bust for my back size to keep an eye on my bra size!
