Just wondering how you add up your inches? My CDC does my bust, waist, hips, an arm and a thigh, then adds up the inches lost....but I like to remember that I have 2 arms and 2 thighs so I add my other arm and leg on in my head to make me feel even better!

I don't add my inches up... I just focus on what I've lost from each area. Feels more real to me to say I've lost X from my hips and Y from my waist than to say I've lost X inches over all.

never thought of it that way! i suppose if you lose half an inch off an arm, it is really 1 inch in total... i like this! lol

I like to take each measurement individually , dont think it has any meaning when you add it all together !!

i know what you mean, its good to think of them individually but i like a nice big number which is what you get when you add it all up! :)

My CDC only did my waist - should she be taking other measurements?

i think it's up to them what they measure, but the record card has a box for each bit of the body I mentioned x
