    Hi SW buddies..

My losses have really started slowing down in last 2 (1lb, then 1lb) weeks and need to really make that change to improve my loss. Changed from EE to Red/Green last week and still the same. So back to EE this week.. but really need help..

So tips needed. So far I have listed a few that will help me:

    • Drink more water
    • Walk more
    • Eat more salad and veggies
    • Eat more sf Fruit even if i'm covering the 1/3 plate rule on EE
    • Reduce Carbs
Anything you can think of that has worked for you, please share it with me.. as long as you don't charge for it, :8855:

    Thanks :sigh:. x

I think you have it about covered!! Toning up will increase your metabolism and lose you inches?? Although muscle may weigh more than fat to begin with!! But long term effects are really worth it even if its light muscle exercise x

DB, no doing EE plan, but reducing carbs just means that I'll not be earing too many of them, ie pasta or potatoes too often. x

    Sounds ideal EF.
If you have carbs, I've been told we're best to have them earlier in the day, and cut back towards the evening, giving you a chance to burn off the energy they provide.
Can't see that plan you have failing if you stick to it though

And remember, 1lb a week is entirely normal for fat loss, so please don;t get disheartened.

Thanks SC.. I know a lb a week is a loss, but I really want better losses and think if I find the plan that works, then I'll get them, like so many ohter ppl have done on here too. Thanks for the carb idea. if I have pasta, then it'll be more at lunch time i think. x

Eat slower so it gives your body time to fill up, use smaller plates, with me if it is on my plate i will eat it but can feel full on a much smaller plate.
Eat little and often if you can
    Good luck

Do you weigh your cereal? (if you have any that is)

Do you measure your milk out for the day?

If I have alcohol (and I Syn it) I either STS or gain, this also happens to someone at my SW group if she eats bananas. Perhaps look at you diaries and see if there's any foods that may have this affect.

    Ahh thanks Clamertina.

I don't eat cereal anymore, just fruit and yogurt and an alpen bar light mid morn too. I know a few ppl who syn alcohol and still loose a good amount. Really can't stick to a plan where you can't have any.. as its not a way of life for me really. Although I don't drink much I do go out now and then, so will have to see if other things work first. Thanks for the advice though. xx

Also if you do have pasta or rice have wholewheat/brown versions as again they help you to feel fuller quicker and for longer thus means you don't eat as much:D.
