Intermittent Fasting

Returning once again.

I started intermittent fasting a week ago and my first official weigh in is tomorrow morning.

My biggest dilemma is that my motivation evaporates very quickly and my hope is that this diary will help to keep me focused. I will be logging on daily if I can. I would welcome your support on my weight loss journey and I promise to do my very best to return that support.

My goals are simply to become fit and healthy and ultimately to get down to 178lbs by this time next year from a starting weight of 255lbs.

I am fasting 16 hours and my eating window is 8 hours, between 1-9 p.m.

I have not weighed all week even though I was tempted and there has been times when I thought of giving up, so tomorrow will be a surprise, good or bad.

My scales say I have lost 4lbs. Very happy
New starting weight for this week is 251lbs.

Today’s food plan
Lunch - tomato soup
Snack - mixed nuts (handful)
Dinner - roast chicken with mixed vegetables and gravy
Snack - 1 orange
Fluids - tea with a splash of milk and 1 litre of water

Exercise routine
Walking 30 minutes
Rebounder - 3 minutes by 2 (just starting)

Snack - handful of crisps
Dinner - poached fish with white sauce and vegetables
Snack - 1 orange
Fluids - tea with a splash of milk and 1 litre of water

Exercise routine
Walking 30 minutes
Rebounder - 3 minutes by 2

Love this, big dirty fry! its really hard to beat. You've done amazing for your first week! Great start. I'm Bean an Tí, new to the admin team and doing Slimming World but also only eating in a 11-8 window, well trying to anyway, only back on it and starting off slow as I'm adjusting to no longer breastfeeding so the hormones are going wild. :classic_roll_eyes: I'm here to help anyway I can :)

Lunch - 2 boiled eggs with Mayo
Snack - handful of mixed nuts
Dinner - cauliflower cheese and gammon steak
Snack - 1 orange
Fluids - green tea and 1 litre of water

Exercise routine
Walking - 30 minutes
Rebounder - 3 minutes by 3

How are you getting on Simone?
I'm good. Sticking to my plan and starting to feel a bit better internally which is a great bonus. Even my 500ml of lemon water is getting easier to drink 😂😂😂

I'm back to work tomorrow so I will be moving a bit more which is no harm. It will be crazy but it will be good. I don't do any exercise at home, I'm just ridiculous 🤣🤣🤣

Well done on your first week loss.:)

My eating window was 12pm to 6pm for a few years until we went into lockdown and it slowly got longer and longer so I nearly ended up eating every hour I was awake. :rolleyes: So today has been my first day back on it.:)

How are you getting on? I'm still on plan. Managed to stay away from all the sweets and biscuits in work, getting plenty of movement too so all going well.

All going good here as well and managed 3lbs off for my weigh in this morning. That’s a half stone now already.

I don’t think I would be able to do a four hour window, Do you go straight into it or gradually cut down?

I do a 6 hour window but my last meal is usually 4.30pm.I'm fine in the morning as I keep myself busy. It's usually evening times when I feel like I want not need something.

Well done on 3lbs off. :)
