Is Johnson UpDayDownDay Diet = Calorie Shifting?

I'm actually following a free diet plan called Calorie Shifting that requires me to alternate my caloric intake between high,medium and low... I wonder whether Johnson UpDayDownDay diet is the same as Calorie Shifting. Anyone knows any differences between these 2 diets? :confused:

JUDDDD just alternates between normal calorie intake and restricted intake of 20% or more of the normal amount. Calorie shifting or cycling varies more than this I believe. Both have the same premise, the body does not get used to a lower intake if your calories change frequently.
