Ive been shopping to start tomorrow!!

OKay, well I have been to Tesco and stocked up all ready to start tomorrow.

I have bought:
Rocket Salad
Cheese and Chive dip (low carbs on pack)
Extra mature cheddar
Butter
Ham
Pepperami's
Salami
Ham
Double Cream
Fut fat mayo
Bacon
Ready cooked chicken peices in mango dressing (2.2g of carbs for half the pack)
Ready cooked chicken peices in chilli dressing (2.2g for half the pack)
Tesco Burgers (about 2-3g each)
Coke Zero
Eggs

Think thats about it from what I can remember....Does that all sound okay?

I have got my head around counting the carbs now.

That first shopping trip is hard to get your head round! I remember it well. :)

Hmmm, I would watch it with the pre-cooked chicken, they can have quite a bit of sugar in which is dodgy when you're in induction & trying to get into ketosis. Check the packet - I tend not to buy anything that lists sugar or dextrose (another name for sugar) in the ingredients, that includes burgers, sausages, ham - they add sugar to just about everything, it is maddening sometimes.

nice thats fine ok for wednesday not much left for thursday on Atkins you can eat quiet a bit

I dont see veg there. I can eat a large bag of rocket in 2days. Back to the shops. Lol. You'll get there. I looked through the recipe thread and planned my meals for a week, wrote down everything i needed, added some spinach, curly cale and pork scratchings. Thats all you'll need.

I should have added that this isnt for a week. I do my shopping on a thurs or fri normally so this was just some stuff to get me started!!
I have got other veg already here so this was just a starter shop! xx

cabbage and bacon is my FAV!!!

(buy lots haha)

looks good for a start up....i have started buying spices to mix in with my meat to make it a little more interesting

hi and welcome to the mad house.
buy things like cheap minced meat and belly pork. the low carb sausages can be expensive but worth it as taste so good. :D

Yes, the cheaper fattier cuts are the best.

I like the sound of "Fut fat mayo" can I try some. LOL
