as you all know i couldnt make my mind up whether to refeed or stay on LT for a while longer as i was getting really moody,well day 3 of refeedish(was told to stick to days 1 and 2)and i feel worse than ever,im not in ketosis even though ive had no carbs and im only having 1 meal so im really hungry all the time and its not good,im still a moody cow and reckon its the stopping smoking and not the LT that is causing it.
I feel really guilty everytime i eat and so im not enjoying it so,im back on the LT as of now,ive got less than a stone to get me to my target weight so hopefully it will only be a couple more weeks,ive thought about nothing else and daves with me (my mums not) there is no point stopping now when i still dont feel comfortable wearing the stuff i would like to ,thanks for always listening and i hope you all understand ,lots of love lil xx

Aww honey it really is a hard decision i kept crying when i started refeed! Its only you who knows when youre ready babe, you do look great and have done fab but do what is right for you xxxxxxxxxxxx

Having read many threads over the last few months it really does seem that you have to be physically and mentally prepared to be thin/thinner - and lets face it, not smoking as well must be a b#tch to cope with too - you have to do it your way and if you think it will help your 'mood' and you OH is behind you then what the hell - go for it - no one will judge you on here for changing tack :rolleyes:

That was how i felt when i stopped, i stopped at 12st 1lb and wasnt sure if i was right or not! Its a good thing i lost more cos now im 11st 4lb ish and would like to be smaller! The gym will change your shape too though hun, but its not worth it if youre not happy xx

Aww Lil, sorry your feeling bad about all this.. if you want to get to goal on LT its your body your life your choice... the moodiness because of the cigarettes i cant really advise on..other than it will surely decrease day by day... i do know what you mean... i was very snappy with oh and the kids while i was STILL on the patches and lozenges in the early days..so god knows how you feel.. by the time i started on LT i was still using the lozenges up until the night before and coming off them was not a problem in terms of moodiness etc... so that had obviously sorted itself out along the way... it will go.. and you have done enourmously well to quit smoking whilst being on LT .. by the time you get to goal (not long) you should be a chilled out slim non smoker xxx

thanks 2hourglass,tj i think a lot is down to not doing the refeed as you should(LT told me to do it this way) im hungry and it seems wrong ,when i refed for my holiday i was stuffed and couldnt think about eating anything else this time is different ,so a couple more weeks then a proper refeed xx

Yeah hun you were great when you did it for hols, you totally inspired and reassured me about refeeding! Ladylipo did the same and i have to say i dont like the idea, if its done properly you can lose anyway without having to be hungry with no carbs at all! Silly i reckon xx

i cant understand why ive come out of ketosis when ive had no carbs,im gonna have to do them first few days again noooooooooooooooo xx

How annoying!! You will be fine hun you are tough..worth it if you'll feel happier. Not even tempted with the smoking?? xx

don't know much about refeed but do you think there are hidden carbs in what you've been having - I know from Atkins that the stupidest things have carbs - do you measure with ketosticks ?

yes i used a ketosick,ive only had cod(dinged)chicken(tinfoil in oven)and salad,lettuce ,cucumber,tomato and balsamic vinigar and leek and broccolli ,god that sounds a lot of food,its over 3 days though xx

Cant get much better than that hun, thats shouls show people thinking about cheating on LT that simple foods are not ok to keep you in ketosis xx

cheating is not worth it at all,mind you this weekend has ended up like one big cheat,hope ive not done too much damage xx
