Hi saw this on Jamies show the other night. Made it today in the slow cooker and served with cous cous - was gorgeous! Think it is free on Extra Easy if you dont add prunes or nuts (i didnt add and dont think it needed them)

Thanks for that - it looks good! I think I'll try a veggie friendly version by leaving out the beef.

It looks fab but where do you get ras el hanout spice mix from

Tesco and sainsbury both sell it - but I warn you it ain't cheap!

Thanks for this - I've been meaning to make this tagine for months so glad to have a personal opinion on it!
I picked up my ras al hanout in a deli as couldn't find it in any of my local shops or Tesco online.

It lists sweet paprika in the ingredients is that just ordinary paprika or is it specifically called sweet paprika. I have ordinary and hot in the house.

Sorry to be thick but looking forward to trying it next week and want to put it on my shopping list.
