Joining a SW group - welcome pack query?

I am going to join a local SW group.

When you sign up do you get the welcome pack for free or is this something extra you have to pay for when joining up?

It's part of the joining fee, £10 to join plus £4.95 and then £4.95 per week. However they did run a special offer in bella magazine last week if you can get a hold of one and there is a reduction.
