Hiya everyone! As it's a lovely sunny day today up here in the North East. It got me thinking about holidays. So has anyone got them booked yet? Where are you going? How are you going to deal with your diet? Or are you planning to be finished and slim by then?!!!

Me and my boyfriend have just booked a trip to America for November. 3 days in vegas, 3 days in LA, 3 days in San francisco. I've never been to America and am soooo excited! Especially as I should be at my goal by then and looking fab! I'm going to buy a gorgeous dress to wear in vegas!! :)

However I am going to T in the park in July and I will either be still in abstinance or maybe on RTM by then, could be a challenge resisting booze and burgers at a festival.

Hi ya,

I am really looking forward to my holiday too. We are going back to Egypt in November (Hurgada) on the Red Sea. Went last year and had a fab time, this year I will be a quarter of the size, and I will be able to get that dreaded tray down on the plane.:)

We are going on a trip to visit the pyrimids and I am hoping to go scubba diving, now that they will have a suit to fit.:D

I will be at goal then so that will be great. I loved it last year so this year should be even more fun, although I was addicted to "sex on the beach";)

I'm over in not so sunny Cumbria (stop hogging it!!!) and I am looking forward to my Mediterranean Cruise for a week starting on 22nd July. Especially as the shorts I've bought to take with me are a size 8 - I haven't been that small since I WAS 8!!!!! All booked and paid for - just counting down the days......

Sunny WOrthing here!

We are off to California the end of May for my mom's 90th birthday and party!! CANNOT wait! I will be the thinnest they have seen me in years, but sadly I will not be at goal.

While I would like to think I would be in RTM (or could pretend) I really know in my heart, I will probably stay on my packs in foundation mode....and just bring a few favourite things back with me to have another day. It will be hard, as I am from the San Francisco Bay Area (you will LOVE it Donna :D) and know just how yummy some of the restaurants etc are and there will be BBQ's at all our friends houses - all my favourite foods, but then this is my priority. This is my time and I do not want to do anything to jeapordise it, bring large setbacks or worse, fail.... So,if it means I am on it when I am there, it means I won't be the next time I go. So, fingers crossed - that is what I am mentally preparing myself for. If I can do it here, I can do it there.

You are going to LOVE Vegas, and San Fran - sorry, I don;t have much good to say about Los Angeles if I am honest - :(. (And for godsakes, don't bother with HOLLYWOOD. ;))
If you have any questions, let me know! Born and raised California girl here! :)

Have fun everyone!! Lady and Deb - great holidays you have coming our way!!! Fantastic!

Well my friend and are are planning on grabbing a last minute bargain as I had a rather expensive trip to Thailand in Dec. We were thinking Spain somewhere as it's a short flight and the weather will be good. Can anyone suggest where we should go? We are both 30 so we want somewhere fairly lively although not like Ibiza etc...we've grown out of that. Ideally somewhere with nice bars and restaurants and a lovely beach. Any ideas?

Hi All,

I am going to South Africa in November, and I can't wait I have not been home for 4 years and it will be very good to spend some time with friends and family.
And the best thing is I will be at goal, and even have finished my 14 weeks Rtm.:D

Just booked a holiday to Cyprus, Coral Bay. Please let me know girls if any of you have been especially coral bay area. Lady I know what you mean about the trays. I have to breathe in for the duration of the meal, not anymore though. Donna have been to las vegas (great) but LA was a dissapoinment especailly hollywood full of hookers and pimps, it really broke the dream. Disneyland is great tho and try to go to seal beach they have a bar near by called the Irisher where the girls behind the bar have you drinking competitions (well they did we me and OH)

Yeah it's mainly vegas and san fran we're going for, but got a great deal that included all three. We're going to Anahiem rather than LA itself so I think were a bit out of the way, near disneyland aparently. Yeah I'm really really looking forward to san fran, want to see the golden gate bridge and alcatraz. We are planning on hiring one of those little yellow go car things to see san fran. :)

Shazza would be the one to talk to, and she could get you a really good deal too!

I've got a month camping in Italy at the end of July ---- cannot wait!

Donnalou - we did much the same as you last year - went to the States for 3 weeks and stayed in San Francisco, Los Angeles - stayed right in Hollywood but did go to (and love) the Disney at Anaheim and also to Vegas which to be honest I wasn't as keen on ---- San Francisco was my fave of the 3 though, fabulous city ...... you'll have the time of your life!

WHat I love about Vegas is all the Casinos - just wandering through them looking at all the themes and design, and each one has some event(s) to offer. Neither of us are gamblers - we spent 4 days there and didn't gamble once!!

Be sure to see the Water Show at The Bellagio - not to be missed! And the Pirate Show at Treasure Island.

WHat is a little yellow go car??
