Ok so seeing as though tomorrow it will be 5 weeks of having a period constantly i thought i'd go see my doc see if it is normal .....

She told me that its perfectly normal. Asked me how much i had lost, how long in and asked what contraceptive im on (if any)

Told her the details and explained its not heavy just there and she said well done on your loss :) and cuz you were big before your body had stopped your periods but now its going through a change and you have the implant your hormones are coming back in play. She said that when people have the implant that can mess up your regular bleeding but cuz you never had any and now you are getting thinner the implant is affecting you!

Actually i am quite pleased really that my periods have returned - as much of a nuisance they are - it means im becoming normal!!

Just relief to know that im not abnormal for having a totm for near on 5 weeks! lol

    :)

I bet you are pleased to have your mind put at rest.

Glad all is well and that you feel more "normal". Little things mean so much don't they!

Oh well that's good to hear.

I've been worried myself about my periods, I haven't had one in 3 months.

Do you have the contraceptive implant? 3 of my friends have suffered *constant* periods after having that. One had hers removed a couple of weeks ago and stopped bleeding the next day...

My sister didn't have the constant period but found her sex drive totally disappeared; to the extent she began to think she'd just married someone she didn't fancy anymore. She came off the implant and within a few days she was chasing him around the bedroom :)
