    Hi Peeps,

Last week i was put on antibiotics as had chest infect. Was taking cold & cough remidies so i was knocked out of ketosis. Is it likely to take me longer than if i ahd cheated with food. Just thinking of the high sugars in the antibiotics and remedies i have taken. Not shifted a pound all week and im depressed!!

Antibiotics actually do usually cause a break in ketosis. But getting better takes precedence over CD - don't worry, you'll soon be back on track, Louise.

If it's possible, avoid the proprietary cough & cold medicines, and stick to paracetamol, perhaps with a "CD Lemsip" - which is hot Sunshine Orange & paracetamol. (Just make sure you don't take more than the daily amount, of both paracetamol and water flavouring.)
