Hello everyone.

Hope you don't mind welcoming me into the Weight Watchers fold.

A little bit about me...between June 2010 and February 2011, I managed to lose 3 stone on SW. However, due to laziness and then illness (I have Crohn's and have been on steroids since October), I've sadly put nearly two stone of it back on.

So I am giving WW a whirl, as I'm hoping it might be a bit more flexible.

Here goes...

Monday 13th February

Breakfast

2 Weetabix - 3pp
350ml skimmed milk (to be used in tea as well throughout the day) = 3pp

Morning all.

Right, day one done and it wasn't too bad at all. I didn't use two points as I'd intended to have two rich tea with a cuppa before bed but ended up falling fast asleep after my gym exploits. A friend recommended this really good gym programme, called 54321. You do five minutes each on three bits of cardio equipment (last night I did treadmill, bike and x-trainer), then four minutes on each, then three, then two, then one. It's harder than you think but makes the time in the gym go really quickly, which works for me! I'm going to do that three or four times this week and am hoping my tennis lesson on Thursday will go ahead.

Anyways diary for today...

Tuesday 14th February

Morning all.

Pretty much stuck to my plan yesterday although OH kindly bought me some chocolates (I'm allowed one a day apparently!), so I had three whilst watching Eastenders. Have changed yesterday's diary accordingly.

Plan for today, day 3...

Wednesday 15th February

Breakfast

porridge oats made with water - 3pp
Apple - 0pp
Banana - 0pp
Splash of skimmed milk (and also to be used in tea as well throughout the day) = 2pp

Lunch

Ham Baguette - 13pp
About 7 chips - 2pp
Werthers Original - 1pp

Dinner

Salmon fillet baked with onion, peppers and mushrooms - 7pp
Rocket salad - 0pp

Points used so far - 30/32
Weekly points used so far - 26/49

Also going to the gym this evening so plan to earn 8-9 activity points (although I have no intention of using these!).

Small update from me. Dinner didn't go quite to plan as the salmon smelt funny and I wasn't going to risk it.

So ended up having toast (3pp), two eggs (4pp), bacon (3pp), mushrooms (0pp) and tommy k (1pp). And a rich tea (1pp). And maybe two haribo (1pp).

So used all 32 daily pp and 4 of my weeklies. So 19 weeklies left.

Did earn 7 activity points though :)

OH MY GOODNESS, you look AMAZING in your avatar!!

I'm good thanks - been MIA for a very long time, but am feeling better now and back in the zone. Don't want to completely undo all the good work I did with SW but it's not flexible enough for me really (read I can't drink enough, haha!) so have given WW a whirl. Day 4 and I am doing ok. They also do SImply Filling days which are like SW and then you use your weeklies for anything that's not on a specific list. Other than that, I'm all good, glad to be finally feeling better after feeling ill for quite a while.

Hiya Hun, I'm good thanks, looking forward to starting weight watchers On Tuesday! Will be so nice to get away from red and green days, have got loads of ww branded stuff already.

Your food looks lovely, think I'll be copying you and asking lots of questions!

Well yesterday didn't go exactly to plan...ended up using 9 of my weeklies plus all of my dailes ad I swapped my dinner for a kebab...no sauce, no chips but still. I'm going to the gym anyway today but will also go tomorrow to earn some extra activity points.

Everything's tracked on my iPhone app though, I was even tracking it whilst in the chippy!

Don't tend to come on here much at weekends but will track on iPhone and update on Monday.

It's not so bad... I've been doing WW since Sept last year but not logged on here - couldn't find the time - work gets in the way!:D:D

I lose approx under a lb each week sometimes 1 and a half but can't seem to lose more than that, but at least its coming off and not on!

(Probably has something to do with all the grub I eat!)

Anyway - its good to hear your feeling better!

I sure have! Week one out of the way and I've lost 3lb in my first week :) Pretty pleased with that.

Weekend was good - stuck to my points (mainly) but think my love for wine may have to be booted out!

My plan of going to the gym was scuppered by the fact I could barely walk up the hill home. I'm so bloomin' tired...probably because I am in desperate need of my Vitamin B12 injection.

I also had a malteaser bunny with a cup of tea this afternoon, so I changed my dinner to a prawn and veg stir fry -2pp. Tested some of OH's pasta so counted 1pp for that and going to have some thorntons chocs to make up the rest of my points

No weeklies used though

Actually used more of my weeklies yesterday as I had a pancake with ham and cheese and then one with nutella! And some chocolates. Although my rationale behind that was I am giving up crisps and chocolate for Lent so I won't be using points on them any time soon.

Total weeklies remaining is 34.

Today's diary is as follows.

Breakfast

Cinnamon Swirl (which was rank and not worth it at all!) - 9pp

Hello all

Quick food update as I've had a busy and slightly sad day. My great aunt has just been diagnosed as having early onset of Alzeihmers and has had to be moved into a care home - she's like a nan to me as my nan (her sister) who I utterly adored passed away when I was 7.

So my day was spent moving her in and it wasn't overly pleasant but it's the safest place for her at the moment.

Oat granola cereal and milk for that and teas - 8pp

Bacon and salad baguette with a few chips and some smoke salmon - 16pp

Dinner was crumpet x2, spread and a scone - 14pp

Rich teas - 3pp

So that's all 31 dailies used, as well as 10 weeklies, meaning I have 24 left.

Five activity points earned for tennis too

Hello all

Sorry I've not been on over the weekend...it was a busy one!

Stuck to my points over the weekend, using all my weeklies.

Yday I ended up having a Chinese, and used all my dailies as well as 6 weeklies so not too bad! Although I feel a bit rotten this morning, I've got a food hangover!! I don't think it was worth it really.

Will update my diary later, just didn't want people thinking I'd flounced!
